Oregon : Administration

Oregon is ranked 27th among the 50 states of U.S. Oregon is located in Pacific North region of southern United States. Oregon was admitted to the U.S union in 1859 as 33rd state. The constitution of Oregon provides three branches of government: executive, legislative and judicial. Oregon has a bicameral legislature, which comprises of 30-members in Senator and 60-members in House of Representatives. The Senators and the House of Representatives are both elected for two-year term. The governor of Oregon serves a four year term and the executive branch consists of eight elected officers. The highest authority in Oregon is of Oregon Supreme Judicial Court as per the judiciary authority and there are several other lower courts as well. The Supreme Judicial Court is made up of a seven chief justices and the only court which can reverse or modify the decision of Oregon Supreme Court is the Supreme Court of United States.

Health Authority: The Oregon Health Authority ensures high quality health access at lower costs, and working towards comprehensive health and health care reform in the state.

Department of Tourism: The Department of Tourism develops and maintains marketing programs that pertain to the promotion of tourism and travel opportunities in the state and ensure hospitality to the visitors. The Department is also responsible for working and managing of the state tourism website to provide internet marketing, promotion of travel opportunities and useful information and facts about the state.
